An eight-year active-duty Air Force veteran, Elliott Sprehe began his career as a photojournalist at Cannon AFB, New Mexico, which would see him deploy to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom in support of coalition special forces and the Republic of Korea for Ulchi Freedom Guardian 2009. His military career also included protocol support of the Inter-American Defense College in Washington, D.C., an Organization of American States independent entity. There he managed State visits from foreign dignitaries.
Upon separating from the Air Force, Sprehe lived in Austin, Texas, supporting state government communications, including the 2019 Russian ransomware attack on Texas, and public communications during COVID-19 for Texas Health and Human Services.

Sprehe is a Chicagoland native, with half his heart in the American South. He and his family moved to the Detroit metro in Summer 2021. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications and two master’s degrees, including an MBA and a Master’s in Public Relations Management. When not working, you’ll find him on a mountain bike trail.
